It’s true, they do. My proof – the internet. The Internet you say, that can’t be right. Take a look around for yourself, it doesn’t matter what forum/discussion you look at it seem that no one is happy and they seriously seem to like it like that. Here’s a prime example; the World of Warcraft General Forums, the majority of it is complaints. The rest of it is trolling.

Why does this happen, why do people want to be like this? Penny Arcade has a theory about it here, though I think it is something else entirely. With the lack of accountability and the anonymity of the internet people are stripped of societies expectations and are striped to their most basic personality or true self.

To conclude, I have no idea why this happens but people seem to not like being happy.

Once again I find myself drawn to writing one of these things. I’m not sure why, it doesn’t improve my life, it doesn’t get me a better job, it doesn’t even help me express myself better. What it does do is give me a place to rant and state my opinions. And I will. In great detail.
